back to the basics with their grunts and grins
malicious little toe rags with political spins.
the old dame is leaving with her dress all in tatters
whilst the new madam enters as mad as any hatters.
kissing tiny babies and arse licking the voters
greasing up our cracks and wooing the floaters.
dressing the future in the glory of a myth
forsaking all honesty as they peel away the pith
of the fruit of our labours to tax us to the hilt
as rome is now burning on the sodom they built.
god bless these tiny islands, these green and pleasant lands
with money for the rich not in the peasants hands.
