in light of recent events. birth. death. famine. violence. i have come to realise that hope and prayer are not enough. there is a surprising apathy among my fellow primates. a low down desire not to evolve beyond the 'drag my knuckles in the dirt' thought process. a grim determination to hang onto what is now.
